Tomorrow, Saturday, August 18, the 29th edition of the National Descent of the Segura River is celebrated in Blanca.
The event, which is organized by the White Canoe Club, will start at 10 o'clock in the morning from the iron bridge of Cieza, and will end in Blanca in front of the Canoeing Club.
It is expected that some 400 paddlers from various clubs in Spain, such as Seville, Madrid, Asturias, Granada, Valencia or Cuenca, will go to what is known as the 'White Canoe Festival', which will have several events throughout the weekend.
The activities will begin today with a rafting race that will start at 3 in the afternoon.
At 5.15 pm, the Segura River Minidescenso will take place.
At night, from 9:00 pm, there will be a reed and a lid on the esplanade of the Canoeing Club and the third rock festival 'Segura's Rock' will be held, which will feature the performances of the Sick Jamming and Mala Konzienzia groups, from 11:30 p.m.
The Piraguas Festival will end on Saturday night with a party of the 80s that will begin at 11 pm
