The mayor of Blanca, Ester Hortelano Ortega, and the president of the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia, José Miguel Monje Carrillo, signed a collaboration agreement this morning to finance the installation of artificial turf in the Field of Municipal Soccer.

The first mayor has been satisfied and thanked the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia (FFRM) for its support with "our municipality and with the development of sport, specifically soccer, as these works will achieve an important improvement in municipal sports facilities ".

Thanks to this agreement, the City Council will receive a grant of 46,335 euros from the FFRM, which will be used for the execution of the works that are already underway.

Hortelano and Monje have visited the Municipal Football Field to check the development and execution of the works that are expected to end at the end of April.

This project is part of the Cooperation Plan of the Works and Municipal Competition Services (POS 2018-2019) that was submitted to a Citizen Participation process where the proposal of "Soccer field with artificial turf" was the most voted with respect to the other propositions, obtaining a total of 258 votes (71.6%).

They have a subsidy of 196 thousand euros from the Autonomous Community.
