Fifteen unemployed Blanca specialize in the care of dependent persons (10/04/2017)

A total of 15 unemployed persons between 25 and 54 years of age Blanca have specialized in the care of dependents after completing a Community program, which for one year has allowed them to train and perform paid work.

This morning, the closing ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Blanca, Ester Hortelano, the Councilor for Employment, Ángel Pablo Cano, and the SEF Director General, Alejandro Zamora, who gave the participants a Diploma in the specialty for which they have graduated.

With this title, the participants can now accredit the professional skills acquired during these months of training and effective work, which increases their options of finding work.

In this sense, Zamora insisted on the current importance of having a certificate of professionalism, "because it gives jobseekers a significant advantage in accessing the labor market in front of other candidates who do not have it. The program has offered a total of 2,016 hours of training, of which 642 have served to complete the theoretical part and 1,374 for the realization of the practical phase, consisting of paid work.

Specifically, these 15 unemployed were hired by the City of White to serve dependent persons in the day center and the residence of seniors.

In addition, the students have worked in the municipal nursery caring for minors with special dependencies.

Youth Guarantee Courses

Prior to the delivery of certificates, Alejandro Zamora held a meeting with the mayor of Blanca, Esther Hortelano, and the Councilor for Employment, Ángel Pablo Cano, which addressed the training projects to be implemented soon in the municipality , As well as other possible joint collaborations to boost employment in the locality.

The Consistory of Blanca will offer two courses for young beneficiaries of Youth Guarantee with a grant from the SEF which amounts to 35,000 euros.

The first of these actions, with a budget of 20,300 euros, will allow a fortnight of unemployed people under 30 years to obtain a certificate of professionalism in the specialty of 'Socorrismo in aquatic facilities'.

Likewise, another 15 young people who do not study or work will know the functionalities and applications necessary to plan and design on the Internet, with the course 'Design and publication of web pages', which has a grant of SEF of 14,700 euros.
