Councilor for Sports, Juan Manuel Molina, presented the poster announcing the XXVIII National Descent of the Segura River that will host Blanca this Saturday, July 22.
The wharf of the Blanca Canoe Club, organizer of the test together with the Department of Sports, was the venue chosen for the presentation which was attended by the poster designer, Aída Juárez, the president of the White Canoe Club, Francisco Juárez And the Ediles Blanqueños, Soledad Ríos and Francisco Javier Rodríguez, as well as several palistas that have realized the test in previous editions.
The test will have its output at 11.45 am, from the iron bridge of Cieza, and will end in Blanca, in front of the Canoe Club about 12.20 hours.
It is expected that about 400 paddlers from various clubs in Spain such as Seville, Madrid, Asturias, Granada, Valencia or Cuenca, attend the well-known 'White Canoe Festival', where he will highlight the participation of the Decaturer of the World of Marathon, Manuel Busto, the winner of sixteen medals in World Championships of speed, Beatriz Manchón, or the recently proclaimed European champion and several times world champion and European Marathon, Marga Ballesteros.
The Festival of the Canoes will also host complementary leisure activities such as a lecture given by Manuel Busto and Beatriz Manchón, on Friday 21 at 7 pm, and the II Segura's Rock, which will feature the performance of the legendary local group, Bayna Rock, at 11 o'clock.
On Saturday night there will be a party of the eighties with the deejays Galli and Chory.
