The municipality of Blanca has hosted this morning the 28th edition of the National Descent of the Segura River, which has had the participation of more than 20 clubs from various Spanish communities.
The White Canoe Club has won the win ahead of the UCAM Mar Menor Canoeing School and Pinatarense Sports Association, second and third classified, respectively.
The party of canoeing has once again had Blanca as a meeting point thanks to the celebration of the XXVIII National Descent of the Segura River.
More than 20 clubs from different parts of Spain such as Pamplona, ​​Granada, Sevilla, Getafe, Pontevedra and Murcia have taken the exit with participants in the categories of infantile, alevín, cadet, junior, senior and veterans.
The test had as an exit point the iron bridge of Cieza and after 15 kilometers in a time of 47 minutes and 48 seconds, there has been the arrival of the vessel headed by Francisco Javier Garcia and Francisco José Morcillo, Club Thader Kayak de Cieza, crossing first the finish line that was located in the wharf of White.
The local club, Blanca Canoe Club, has proved to be in top form by becoming the champion in the classification by clubs, ahead of the UCAM Mar Menor Canoeing School, ranked second, and the Association of Sports Pinatarense, in third position.
