More infrastructures and new educational programs for Blanca (29/09/2017)

Martinez-Cachá also visits the school La Milagrosa to analyze the needs of the center

The Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Adela Martínez-Cachá, together with the mayor of Blanca, Esther Hortelano, and the councilors of Youth and Culture, today visited the school Antonio Molina, and supervised the facilities that the Community will expand during the next months.

Specifically, according to Martínez-Cachá, "several actions will be carried out to give the school more space".

The Councilor announced that the project will be completed by the end of the year and that the works will start in 2018. For the drafting of the project there is allocated a starting line of 100,000 euros that add to the total investment to expand the center.

In addition, reported that this Christmas will be carried out other actions to improve the windows.

The head of Education stressed that "from the regional government we are making an important effort to provide students and teachers with adequate facilities so that they can develop their work and achieve a higher educational quality to achieve more school success."

On the other hand, the Minister recalled that Antonio Molina is one of the 27 educational centers in the region where this course has been launched the initiative 'Game in the cole'.

The goal is to "adapt to innovative new classroom-based didactic methodologies based on games", explained the counselor, who added that "in this way we transfer to the classroom the results of pioneering studies in the field of pedagogy."

"These studies highlight the importance of quality educational care in the early years," said Martínez-Cachá.

In this course, the Community will provide an extraordinary financial grant of 1,000 euros to schools that have an additional classroom in the second cycle of Children, which will allocate to the acquisition of educational material for students of three years, such as puzles, symbolics or stories, among others.

During the working day in the municipality of Blanca, which began with a meeting in the town hall, the councilor and the mayor analyzed the needs and educational infrastructure of the municipality, which has invested almost one million euros in the last three years .

Among the actions carried out, it is worth mentioning the cover on the sports court at CEIP Virgen del Pilar, the extension of the IES Valle del Segura and the improvement in the electrical installation of CEIP Antonio Molina González.

The visit to the municipality concluded with a tour of the school La Milagrosa de Blanca to analyze the needs of the center.

The 27 centers that will benefit from the 'Game in the School' plan are: CEIP Mediterráneo (Águilas), Bienvenido Conejero (Los Alcázares), Antonio Molina González (Blanca), Bishop García Ródenas (Bullas), La Santa Cruz (Caravaca de la Cruz, San Isidoro (El Algar, Cartagena), San Isidro (Los Belones, Cartagena), Maestro Sixto López Navarro (Fortuna), Carmen Conde (Jumilla), Juan Navarro (La Hoya, Lorca) , San José (Lorca), Francisco Caparrós (Mazarrón), Manuela Romero (Port of Mazarrón), Virgen de la Vega (Cobatillas, Murcia), Pedro Pérez Abadía (Espinardo, Murcia), Torreteatinos (El Raal, Murcia), Juan XXIII (Monteagudo, Murcia), La Flota (Murcia), Mariano Aroca (Murcia), New Schools (El Palmar, Murcia), Santo Ángel (Holy Angel, Murcia), Our Lady of the Rosary Santomera), Deitana (Totana), San José (Totana) and Alzabara (Caves of Reyllo, Fuente Álamo).
