On the occasion of the celebration of International Book Day, on April 23, the municipality of Blanca has scheduled a series of activities that will take place in the Villa del Libro from April 17 to May 4.
The cultural offer around the book starts tomorrow, Tuesday, with the show 'The magic of reading', aimed at schoolchildren in the municipality.
The magician Luigi Ludus will connect the world of reading through magic, in a performance that will start at 10 in the morning at the Victoria Theater.
For days 22 and 23, the Department of Culture will launch the first edition of the festival 'Lee, Create and Draw', with activities ranging from the signing of books by 30 regional writers to the possibility that each participant can create your comic
'Lee, Crea y Dibuja' will bring the world of comics closer to the white population thanks to the well-known Marvel cartoonist, Salva Espín, who will direct a Master Class on the 23rd.
The fair will be located in the Plaza de la Iglesia from 11 am to 2.30 pm.
During the opening day, Espin will encourage the participants to create their own super hero, enjoy the photocall and create their own comic.
In addition, a comic will be delivered to the participants as a souvenir of the festival.
On the 23rd there will be a theater series in English at the Victoria Theater, with two performances aimed at Primary students.
The play 'Dinos' will be the first one, at 10 o'clock in the morning, for the first, second and third boys and girls.
At 12, it will be the fourth, fifth and sixth turn that you will enjoy with 'The Time Machine'.
The cycle will end on May 4, with a work directed for the students of first and second of the ESO.
