White and Cieza among the ten best clubs in National League Canoeing Rivers (01/05/2011)

The White Canoe Club, organizer of the first competition of the X League Rios, Cruises and Marathon was in seventh place while the Club de Cieza Thader Kayak and Canoe School Mar Menor were eighth and thirteenth, respectively.

The XXII edition of the Segura River National Descent also hosted the celebration of the National League IV Canoeing Veterans where Aranjuez Canoe Club School became champion in the overall standings by clubs, as in the X League Rivers.

Canoeing cram again, another year, the town of White paddlers and fans to the sport which brought together more than thirty clubs come from different Spanish Autonomous Communities throughout.

The town of Blanca celebrated the twenty-second edition of the Segura River National Descent this year hosted in turn, two national level competitions such as the X League Rios and Marathon Trekking and Canoeing IV League veterans.

In both claimed victory Canoe Club Escuela de Aranjuez, with 453 points in the league with 807 rivers and the VA.

Piragüística competition was organized by the Canoe Club and the council of Sports City of White, whose head, the mayor Jorge Molina, was very pleased with the large number of participants who had the test.

The podium for the clubs, the League X Ríos, Cruises and Marathon was formed by the Canoe Club School of Aranjuez, in the first place, followed by the Ace Club Viking Pilgrimage Torres-Caton (Galicia), in second position, and Dugout Club Madrid, in third place.

As Veterans League, first place was again for the Canoe Club School of Aranjuez, followed by Alberche Kayak Club, also in Madrid, and the Basin Canoe Club character.

Murcia was kayaking in a great position with a seventh place by the White Canoe Club, among others thanks to the good performance of three of its canoeists such as the cadet Judith Molina Cano and Ana Isabel Rios Molina, gold and silver medal respectively, and young Amador Ruiz Cano champion in its class.

Thader Kayak Club of Cieza, was in eighth place while the Mar Menor had to settle for thirteenth place.
