The "watermarks" Fabriano reach White (15/02/2013)

Mayor White, Rafael Laorden, and the painter Pedro Cano, last night opened a new exhibition that includes works that have participated in the International Prize for watercolor 'D'Acqua Fabriano Watercolour March 2012'.

The exhibition will remain in the temporary exhibition hall Pedro Cano Foundation until 14 April.

At the ceremony, Councillor of Culture of the Italian city of Fabriano, Giovanni Balducci, informed the blanqueño painter who had been appointed as Honorary Citizen

Mayor White, Rafael Laorden, and the painter Pedro Cano, last night opened a new exhibition that includes works that have participated in the International Prize for watercolor 'D'Acqua Fabriano Watercolour March 2012'.

The ceremony was also attended by director of Museo della Carta e della Diligrana, from the Italian city of Fabriano, Giorgio Pellegrini, and the Councillor for Culture of Fabriano, Giovanni Balducci, who announced the appointment as painter blanqueño Adopted Son of Fabriano.

Pedro Cano Foundation hosts until April 14 International Prize works known as' Watermarks' whose 2012 edition is permeated by the presence of the painter blanqueño, where he participated as a jury member for the prize giving its' Naked Paper 'and a technical course on the human body.

The Fabriano Watercolour Biennial 2012 starts in the town of Blanca traveling a route that will continue in other museums of Europe and America, and will remain in the temporary exhibition hall Pedro Cano Foundation until 14 April.

With this roaming is expected to be an opportunity to develop a network of international relations which "can build other events and projects as well as provide an opportunity for young artists residencies as give them the opportunity to meet other realities, but also to become known outside their hometowns "said Pedro Cano.

Cano said that the first thing is to enjoy this opportunity to expose Nono Garcia in May at the Museo della Carta e della Filigree Fabriano, in the framework of an artist residency.

In this second edition of the international award watercolor involving a total of 47 artists from 15 countries among which are Japan, Italy and Spain.

Among the Spanish biennial Fabriano has enjoyed the participation of Nono García, Isabel Martínez Cánovas Juanjo Alosete and attending the opening of the exhibition that begins with the winning 'Taking the straim II'' painter'' Angus McEwan.
