The Volunteers Platform Murcia presented next Wednesday, November 12 in White the project "Peace is possible Caravan", an activity aimed to raise awareness and disseminate in our region the values of peace.
Peace as a source of comfort for all and basic human and social progress in our community.
The caravan will be located in the Town Hall Square in the town of Valle del Segura, all day, and volunteers to inform citizens
the various associations that are participating in this project.
In the afternoon, after 20 hours, the platform moves to volunteer hall of the Centro Cultural "Miguel Angel Fernandez Abenza" on the Calle Juan Ramón Jiménez, where they held a ceremony for peace.
The event will include an exhibition of posters, audiovisual and multimedia projections and reading a manifesto for peace to explain to the audience the possibilities of improvements in staff welfare Volunteers Platform promotes this through its selfless action for the promotion and development of a culture of peace, a culture that promotes respect for life, human dignity, values and attitudes that reflect and inspire participation.
The project comes with an inclusive, intercultural approach, and an educational perspective as a way to work together from different areas of a culture of peace.
This project began on September 21, coinciding with the celebration of International Day of Peace proclaimed by the UN and will end on 21 December this year.
