The Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, and Mayor White, Rafael Laorden, have signed a collaboration agreement which the Community will provide 593,000 euros to finance the final phase of construction of the new residence in this town .
The municipality will in the coming months with 44 new residential places, once you have completed the construction of new nursing home next to the Day Care Center in White.
The new residence is divided into three floors and 30 rooms are arranged, 16 single and the remaining 14 double use.
With the coming into operation of this residence, White Township will have a total of 94 places between residential beds and day stay.
The new building will feature a multipurpose room, physiotherapy, nursing, as well as disabled toilets in each of the bedrooms and four bathrooms elderly.
White's residence has a total budget of 2.2 million euros of which more than 50 percent has been contributed by the Autonomous Community.
