The Minister of Presidency and the mayor of White inaugurate the new building, whose works have a subsidy of 192,000 euros.
The White City Sports has today a new building for a gymnasium with two paddle courts, located on the deck, a spacious fitness room and various function rooms for sports and gymnastics.
The Minister of Presidency and Public Administration, María Pedro Reverte, opened today, with the mayor of White, Rafael Laorden, new units, which involves an investment of 620,000 euros, of which 192,136 of the Autonomous Community has contributed, through Plan of Works and Services 2008.
The new building will expand the sporting activities undertaken by the City Council in the locality and, as noted by the Minister of Presidency, "will facilitate and improve access to these activities of the citizens of this town, and that such actions are of great public interest and of which directly benefit both adults and young people and children. "
According to Mayor White, Rafael Laorden, "These facilities help to improve the sporting activities of the municipality.
The local citizens will from now with a fuller range to develop new activities such as paddle practice.
In addition, the new facility can develop all kinds of activities with new equipment for exercise, for what they have invested an additional € 36,000 in sports equipment. "
Other actions
Reverte recalled also that the town of Blanca has two more grants of Works and Services Plan of 2009 for the construction of two paddle courts, a tennis and more parking at the Sports City, "works which will soon begin to run. "
The construction of sports facilities includes an investment of 131,488 euros, of which 118,339 are subsidized by the Autonomous Community, and the budget for the parking amounts to 103,687 euros, of which 84,431 euros correspond to the regional subsidy.
