The Councilor for Sports, Javier Egea, has presented this morning the poster announcing the XXX National Descent of the Segura River that will take place next Sunday, August 11.
The poster is a work of Jorge García Molina, a child of the municipality that belongs to the White Club of Canoeing and whose love of painting has led him to make this watercolor with only 12 years.
The work is based on an image of a canoeist while the descent of the Segura River and will serve to announce the 30th anniversary of this sporting event, which is the only type of descent that takes place in the Region and throughout the Southeast of the peninsula.
The presentation, which has been attended by the mayor of Sports, the creator of the work, the president of the White Club of Canoeing, Carlos Turpin, and the Vice President, Jesus Ramos, has been made in the Iron Bridge.

"It is one of the traditions that we wanted to recover and that was a tribute on this 30th birthday" said the president of the White Club of Canoeing, Carlos Turpín.
The test will have its output at 12 o'clock, from the iron bridge of Cieza, and will end in Blanca around 12.30.
It is expected that some 400 paddlers from several clubs in Spain, such as Seville, Madrid, Asturias, Granada, Valencia or Cuenca, will go to what is known as the "White Canoe Festival" which includes several complementary activities throughout the weekend.
