Last Thursday, December 5, at the MUCAB (Blanca) offices, colleagues Jesús Joaquín López Moreno and Miguel Ángel Molina Espinosa participated in a meeting convened by the Department of Culture of the City of Blanca, with the purpose of creating a work table to revitalize and dignify the old town of this town, in which the Official Chronicler of Blanca, members of the Centro Negra-AADK Spain and involved neighbors also participated.
The improvement of the aesthetics and health of the area were some of the topics that were discussed in this first call of the working table.
The Cultural Association "La Carrahila" presented the proposal to execute an urban route that shows all the heritage that the old town of Blanca possesses, as we already presented at the time to the councilwoman Soledad Ríos Ramos.
This initiative, contemplated within the Project "Legacy alive" (Caramucel - "La Carrahila"), will be titled De Blanca a Negra.
Route through the Moorish neighborhood.
This action aims to revitalize this old town, heir to the Moorish period (16th century).
