The Living Legacy project will value the hydraulic heritage of the Huerta de Blanca through a local path (23/09/2020)

The Caramucel and "La Carrahila" associations have received the official green light from the Blanca City Council for the execution of the path marked Hydraulic Heritage of the Huerta de Blanca, whose objective is to value the assets that are part of its millenary agricultural space .

This trail, 4 kilometers long, will be approved by the Mountaineering Federation of the Region of Murcia.

It will be part of the Living Legacy, a project directed and executed by these associations, with which it is intended to mark, disseminate, protect and recover the cultural heritage of the Ricote Valley and that, as in previous actions, will have the indispensable help of the administration local.

The performance will take place this fall. The main justification for the execution of this path is given by the absence of signs that allow to publicize and value the hydraulic elements of the Huerta de Blanca.

Undoubtedly, the signposting of the local path will help residents increase their knowledge of the area closest to the urban area.

For the visitor, it will constitute a new tourist and cultural resource offered by the Ricote Valley region, having an impact on the local economy. It will constitute a new tourist and cultural resource offered by the Ricote Valley region, having an impact on the local economy. It will constitute a new tourist and cultural resource offered by the Ricote Valley region, having an impact on the local economy.
