Dances, music and color in the XVIII Contest Folklore Villa Blanca (05/03/2016)

The Victoria Theatre hosted Saturday night in the XVIII Contest Folklore Villa Blanca organized by the Peña Huertana the able and meets 20 years.

The festival had the participation of choirs and dance groups, Our Lady the Virgin of Sorrows, local Peña, and Museo de la Huerta Sewer.

Both groups offered a wide repertoire of traditional dances such as jacks, joys, fandangos, Malaga and carousing.

The Capaza took the celebration of this event to crown their queens who will represent this Huertana Peña Blanca in all official events during 2016. The girl Nora Molina was named child queen, while Thais Cano and Pilar Lucas were presented as young Queen and more queen, respectively.

After the coronation ceremony, the group blanqueña honored the occasion of the celebration of its 20th anniversary, all the queens of rock that have represented Murcia as Damas de la Huerta.
