M ª Dolores Fuentes, with almost a hundred years old, is the longest blanqueña and this morning, has received recognition from Esther Horton, Councillor of Social Affairs.
The town celebrates a week dedicated to the largest full of acts that will run until next Saturday, Day 8, where the Queen will be elected Mayor of a gala awards ceremony and dance.
From 28 September until 8 October, the town of White celebrates the Week of Mayor, with days of games, educational workshops, contests, tournaments, dances and informative talks.
The Department of Social Affairs, who helps organize the week, has honored this morning to Maria Dolores Fuentes, being the oldest person in white, with 99 years of age.
The family of this local resident of Alto del Palomo was happy and proud to be the oldest person in this town of Vega del Segura.
As for the commemoration of the Week for Mayor, have continued this morning with a day of living in the Residence and Day Centre Lady of Sorrows, which began with a Mass, followed by a snack.
Mayor White, Councilman Rafael Laorden and Social Affairs, Esther Horton accompanied the elderly in the Mass celebrated by the local parish priest Don José Carbonell.
