Mayor White, Rafael Laorden, and the Minister of Public Works and Planning, Antonio Sevilla, inaugurated the refurbishment of public space in the access road to the town of Blanca, which have led regeneration and enhancement of the environment dedicated space for pedestrians.
The work has involved a total investment of 386,000 euros, between the city council and the autonomous region, getting feedback from the access path from a point of view as landscape and environment, to date, it was a visually degraded environment.
The work carried out by the City of White has been possible thanks to the grant program for design of public spaces of the Directorate General of Land and Housing, which can be up to 75 percent of the total budget of the works are undertaken.
The regeneration works have included the creation of a pedestrian platform on a lot municipal property had a large gap, which has been used to build a local municipal.
In addition, the square has acquired a sculpture, 'A coscoletas' by Antonio Campillo, and requiring intervention incorporating treatment, by sheet metal and lighting systems, the wall that falls into the square.
The work is completed with the paving of all pedestrian areas, lighting, street furniture, trees and plant treatments
