Twelve years fighting for life (17/10/2014)

where events are organized to raise funds for the fight against cancer.

The events begin today with the championship of paddle and continue throughout the weekend with the inaugural gala as main event where he was appointed as Matron of Honor Mary Paz Valchs Carrillo for his collaboration with the local board of the AECC White last 13 years.

White takes twelve consecutive years fighting cancer disease with the organization, by the local board of the AECC and the city council, of the week 'Blanca for life'.

"This week the whole town turns to fighting this disease actively participating in all the events and contributing financially to raise funds," according to Mayor White says it was pleased with the events planned which highlights a new feature Paddle Championship which starts this afternoon with the participation of 7 teams in the female category and 8 other male.

Sunday's inaugural gala (21 hours, Victoria Theatre) where Valchs appoint María Paz Carrillo as Matron of Honor is celebrated.

Sunday's start with the 'March for Life' (10am) from the Victims of Terrorism square through the main streets of the town and ending at the church square with holding a Charity Bazaar in the there will be an exhibition of folk dancing by the vegetable garden clubs.

On Tuesday 21 acts will continue with a relay race in which participating children and adults and will exit the park 'Las Cuevas' at 5pm.

On Wednesday 22, the family doctor White Health Center, Francisca Zamorano, will give a talk on the MUCAB.

Thursday 23 and Friday 24 will be dedicated to the dance and song with the celebration, doubly Gala 'Dancing and singing for life' with the participation of dance groups and singers of the municipality.

Both will be at 20 am and will have an entry of 3 euros.

The week 'White for Life' end on Saturday 25 with the traditional closing dinner at a restaurant whose proceeds will go to the AECC.
