The Victoria Theatre hosted the VII White Children Popular Dances, in which he acted alongside the orchard Peña "El Ciecón" from White, the folk group "Villa de Alhama Alhama de Murcia.
The event was held in the evening on Saturday, May 31, and in him, the spectators enjoyed the performances of the smaller members of the Rock "The Ciecón" and Group "Villa de Alhama.
The latter was founded in 1983 in Alhama de Murcia, with the aim of rescuing and promoting popular culture and folklore of his people and the region for, thus giving insight into the roots and ways of life of its people, and 25 years later, they have succeeded handsomely.
To achieve its goals, "Villa de Alhama has toured each of the districts of the municipality and adjacent municipalities and recovered dances, songs and dress of each area.
In addition to the popular traditional dances has also been concerned to recover all the cultural events that were played once in Alhama, such as Mayo, Cruces, Habanera, carols, etc..
El Grupo Folklorico "Villa de Alhama is known both in the region and beyond and for the Seventh Meeting of Popular Dances Children played and danced the Jack of Murcia, the Jack of Aljucer, the Slackers, the orchard Malagueña, Parrandas of the gully, the Incarnation and the Chipirrín.
