The Caretakers Workshop for persons with a disability greater than 38%, organized by the City of White, through its Department of Social Affairs, last Thursday ended June 19, with the ceremony of diplomas.
Pilar Sánchez, councilor of Social Affairs and Irene Consistory of Blanca Martinez, a psychologist at City Hall, were in charge of giving students the diploma for having completed the Caretakers Workshop.
The course has been to educate all students write on topics of mechanical, computer and treatment of the public.
In addition the Council tendered the possibility that participants could work experience course organized by the own town.
The course began in early April and have been a total of ten students who participated in it.
Four of these ten students have already completed an internship organized by the City, two in the receipt of Social Affairs building and two in the Day Center, one at the reception and another assistant, participating in activities with the largest and serving breakfast.
White is working hard to enable all its citizens with disabilities, integration into the workplace.
In addition to this course, another measure that the City has taken in this regard is the signing of cooperation agreement with the association FAMDIF / COCEMFE-MURCIA, which is developed by the Department of Labour Integration of the region of Murcia in White with the aim of promoting access to employment of people with physical and / or organic and improve their level of training.
