The Governing Council has approved the participation of the Autonomous Region, through the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, in the creation of Pedro Cano Foundation, which today have approved the statutes, and to allocate 30,000 euros in respect founding contribution.

This institution, nonprofit, founded with the purpose to expose and promote the works of artist from Blanca Pedro Cano in the cultural landscape within and outside the Region, through publications, exhibitions and other activities to disseminate a better knowledge and promoting pictorial character of the painter and his relevance in the world of art.

Heritage Foundation incorporated Pedro Cano over a hundred paintings, including series of paintings and oil paintings, in which reflects the author's career and that is reflected in his personal style.

Prominent among their series of entitled "Skylight" and "Invisible Cities."

Part of his work has been exhibited in Rome and other Italian cities.

For the development of this institution for the City of White assign a property in the streets and Federico José Antonio Servet, and the author and his brothers own two other properties located in the streets Núñez and García Morato.
