Public Works enables a transmission line which allows students to rural communities in Blanca go to school by bus (09/11/2008)

This service is part of the subsidies to rural lines attached Public Works to ensure mobility and encourage the use of public transportation in the districts with fewer people

The Ministry of Public Works and Planning, through the Directorate General for Transport and Ports, has enabled bus line Román-Sale-White Train Station, through a grant of 43,911 euros to the company Coach José Murcia García Martínez, which will allow secondary school students living in rural communities in the municipality of White can go to school by bus.

This line, which had more than 15 years out of service due to lack of demand, connects the districts of Blanca in the town of the municipality, so that young people have a public transport to attend the secondary schools' Valle del Segura ', located on Avenida Rio Segura in this town.

In this sense, the director general of Transport and Ports, Carmen Sandoval, said: "With this service ensures mobility and encourages public transport use, responding to the needs of families living in scattered villages the town of Blanca. "

This new route, which was launched last year on an interim basis with an average of 20 passengers who travel daily total of 40 kilometers.

The bus leaves at 7:45 am Sales Román, past the Railway Station at 8:00 and arrives at White at 8:25 pm.

Grants to 14 expeditions
