White City Council has failed poetry contest I Villa del toro bullfighting.

More than thirty writers from various parts of Spain were competing literary encounter that began with the intention of promoting bullfighting culture and literature dedicated to the art and the fate of the bull.

"White has always been linked in the celebration of their patron saint to the world of bullfighting.

Here were held the first Running of our region, thousands of visitors flock each year to the closure and bullfighting, the culture around the world of bullfighting has always been present.

For this reason the City decided to create a cultural project related to bullfighting: Blanca, Villa del toro.

The literary competition is another of the new activities proposed, but many more will come "said Mayor White, Rafael Laorden.

The prize is endowed with 600 € for the winner, the only award that has decided a jury composed of people from the world of journalism and literature of bullfighting.

"We are very pleased with the quality of the works submitted for competition and the number of people who are interested in this award.

Cádiz, Huelva, Málaga, and Madrid, to name a few, are the communities from which we received written, and many parts of the Region, "said Esther Horton, Councillor for the City of White festivities.

With all the works selected in the competition will consider issuing a publication for the collection of the best papers presented this year.

The winner of this year was Maria Antonia Ruiz Garcia, a native of Carthage, Porcelain Tides poetry.
